Burton Corp. accelerates the development process by offering services in Acquisition, Entitlement, Design, and Construction.  

ACQUISITION:  An old development adage is “you make your money the day you buy the land.”  At Burton Corp. we manage feasibility studies, pre-development budgeting and pro-formas, environmental studies, zoning and land use analyses, and transactions including purchase and sale agreements.  We work to understand the needs of our client and provide critical information during this important step of the development process.

ENTITLEMENT:  We manage all types of entitlements including re-zoning, general and specific plan amendments, use permits, design review, and environmental studies.  Most development requires some level of entitlement work. We manage this process from preliminary planning meetings to local municipality approval at the highest regulatory level.  

DESIGN:  Much of the success of a real estate development depends on design.  We manage planners, architects, and engineers from pre-development concepts through final construction. We focus on value-engineering and cost-saving design.  Architects and engineers do not always focus on the most economical design practices. We work to ensure all consultants are acutely focused on our client’s goals.  We also manage municipal design review and governmental approvals.

CONSTRUCTION:  Burton Corp acts as both general contractor or construction manager for all facets of real estate development  We build and manage site work including wet and dry utilities, earthwork, and major infrastructure. We also build and manage all above ground construction including office, retail, industrial, single family, and multi-family housing.  Our focus is to provide value to our clients while meeting their specific construction needs.
